Good Samaritan Health Clinic, which donates its services to uninsured residents, was on the receiving end of a major donation recently: new flooring provided by Shaw Flooring Co. and installed by a crew from Lowe’s of Orange City. The crew from Lowe’s is also planning to renovate the drop ceiling in one of the clinic’s rooms.
Once the project is completed, Lowe’s will have donated around $6,500 of material and labor. A total of about 120 man-hours will have been donated with the completion of the flooring project and the ceilings, which Lowe’s also is replacing in the older parts of the Good Samaritan building.
Mary Gusky, administrator of Good Samaritan Clinic, said, “We are truly blessed and so grateful to Lowe’s for their commitment to Good Samaritan.”
